Chart notes
ILLUMINATE chased the pace into the stretch, responded with a burst of speed under left handed urging to make the lead past the sixteenth pole and drew clear. HOLIDAYS ARMY BRAT away alertly, set the pace into the stretch, shook clear then couldn't handle the late charge of the winner. SMALL TOWN GOSSIP stumbled at the start, offered a mild bid three wide into the turn then leveled off. SINGER also stumbled at the start, chased the early pace and weakened on the turn. SMARTASSET was no factor. ELECTRIC MELODY veered in at the start and had brief speed. RAPIDA was through early, eased in mid stretch, jogged to the wire and was walked off.
