Chart notes
TENSAS CAMP ROAD was crowded at the start, rated early while racing off the rail, bid three wide entering the stretch and closed under left handed urging to get up in the final strides. HE'S A FINE BABY pressed the pace along the inside, was crowded and taken back near the half pole, rallied off the rail on the turn, angled out at the top of the stretch, bid willingly, got up inside the sixteenth pole and was caught near the wire. BEACH BLANKET pressed the pace three across, assumed command into the turn, led past the sixteenth pole and yielded grudgingly. ISLAND CABANA was unhurried early, went six wide entering the stretch, finished well and was gaining late. DOOLGAROUX was unhurried early, went widest in the drive and offered a mild bid to improve position. DUE WE DARE stalked the pace five wide, was impeded and steadied at the top of the stretch, dropped back and faded. CORPORAL PAUL broke out, set the pace, tired into the turn and gave way.
