Chart notes
SPARKLING RUBY unhurried early to be the trailer, rallied leaving the three-eighths pole to sweep to the lead on the far turn, opened a clear lead in mid-stretch and held the closer safe late in the drive. AZTEC PRINCESS was well placed tracking the pace for the first half mile, lost positon whil saving ground on the final turn and rallied well belatedly up the fence in the lane. WHISPERING SEA reserved off the pace through the first turn, pulled up to prompt the pace while well in hand down the backside and finished willingly with a grinding rally unable to catch the top pair in the lane. FIRST FORAY set the pace on a well rated, clear lead, responded when challenged turning for home and weakened in the final eighth. STELLARATOR raced in contention through the first turn, dropped to the rear of the field around the final turn, angled wide at the top of the lane and finished with mild interest.
