Chart notes
VILLIAN had speed from the start three wide, rallied between horses two wide through the far turn to make the lead entering the stretch and edged clear under confident handling. SILENCE allowed to settle, altered course sharpy from the four to the six path in mid stretch then was steadily gaining ground late. SPELLCAST was hung four wide through the clubhouse turn, stalked the pace three wide, drew closer nearing the quarter pole then was outfinished. I WANNA WIN pressed the pace two wide through the first turn, made the lead before a half, set the pace to the top of the stretch and weakened, late. EKATI'S WAY set the pace through the first turn, was put in tight along the rail by the loose horses at the five eighths pole causing his rider to steady giving up the lead, pressed the pace into the far turn then faded. HENRY MAC trailed. SWING STATE reared hitting the gate at the start and unseated his rider. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
