Chart notes
GAS ALLEY stalked the pace two to the quarter pole, came three wide off the bend and ran on and surged late to edge clear late to prove best under a drive. POTCAKE showed the way making it to the inside on the first turn, dawdled along while clear and drew out when straightened but tired late and was caught. EARL OF GODIVA tracked the pace along the inside but lacked the needed winning bid. HOPE'S ALIVE broke in the air and was off slowly, then raced on the outside and was four wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane but lacked the needed rally. I LIKE IKE was allowed to settle along the inside but had no rally. YANCEY chased the pace three wide and weakened. LONESOME ROAD was settled early and moved out to be three wide on the far turn and had no rally. RHYTHM 'N BLUES was settled two wide and tired.
