Chart notes
BLESSED VISION away in good order, vied three wide through the first turn, held a slim lead down the stretch the first time while under light restraint, continued to battle the next three furlongs, headed backstretch, put a head back in front entering the stretch the final time, edged away late in a gutty effort. PATRIOTIC DUTY in the second flight early outside, four wide into and through the second turn, advanced and challenged inside of the three furlong marker, briefly led, lost ground to the top two through the third turn, coming again late while remaining on the outside. R DOC also set or forced the pace throughout, closest to the inside, led far turn, proved stubborn to the end. OKIE SMOKE settled off the early pace, challenged three wide with PATRIOTIC DUTY inside that one midway up the backstretch the second turn, pressed into the final turn and began to gradually weaken. I AM GRODD raced in the second fight, continued behind the lead pack the middle half mile, lacked a closing kick. HAMAZING WISDOM flashed some brief early speed inside the top two, was finished after a half. ROYALLY four wide in the second turn when trailing, continued well back to be always outrun. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
