Chart notes
GOSPEL GENTLEMAN dueled on the outside from the start, fell back through the final turn, set down, responded, late bid, up at the wire. BIG COUNTRY BOY away well, alternated up front along the inside, kicked away late in the final turn, expanded that advantage past midstretch, kept to task with a couple of taps of the drop but could not contain the winner at the wire. PEA EYE settled off the pace and the inside, moved out to be three wide in the second turn, rallied to be in time for the show, not a threat to the top pair. CHIVATO headed up the second flight, continued to chased the top pair into the lane, caught late for the show. KEEP UP THE PACE broke back, lacked speed, lacked the necessary closing response. EURA HAPPY HIPPIE last to leave, trailed well back, failed to mount a late charge. OUT WITH MATHEW in the second flight inside, retreated in saving ground to no avail. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
