Chart notes
MOMMY'S TURN got steadied just after the start when outside rivals tightened up the seam between foes against pressure inside from GRACE AND GRIT, who broke out a step, pulled on the bit along the inside into the first turn keen to go more forward before settling tracking along the inside down the backstretch, got waited with patiently until tipped out to the two path nearing the quarter pole before heading back inside into upper stretch, tipped back out and found a seam between foes and rallied on through to split the top pair at the three-sixteenths, then edged clear to the finish to prevail. DISCO STAR settled tracking the pace along the inside from near the rear of the field initially, made steady progress through the field to be mid pack when spinning just off the inside at the quarter pole before angling out four wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, offered up a mild kick and was up for the place honors while unable to threaten the winner. BOSTON'S PHINEST broke in at the start applying pressure that steadied two rivals after the break, raced three then two wide through the first turn, tracked the pace just off the inside in closest aim of the leader, came under coaxing nearing the quarter pole, spun two then three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and ran on to preserve the show honors. SHE'S OUR TIZ saved ground near the rear of the field, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, kept on to the finish. GRACE AND GRIT broke out a step at the start and forced MOMMY'S TURN to steady in tandem with TRAIL OF GOLD after the break partnered with pressure outside from BOSTON'S PHINEST, established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until roused continuing in the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, then weakened in the late stages. TRAIL OF GOLD got steadied after the start when her lane tightened breaking half a beat slow due to pressure from flanking sides, chased two then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, tipped four wide at the head of the stretch and offered no response. MARVELOUS MADISON three then two wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, angled four wide for home and weakened in the stretch. CHARLOTTE'S HEART raced just off the inside through the opening bend before tipping out three then four paths off the inside down the backstretch, went three wide through the far turn coming under encouragement midway, angled out five to six wide at the top of the stretch and offered no response. CARMEN'S CANDY JAR tracked the front just off the inside from near the rear of the field, came under urging near the five-sixteenths, continued in the two path into upper stretch and made no impact.
