Chart notes
REINVEST broke slowly, trailed, down the backstretch, closed rapidly four wide under left handed urging through deep stretch and got up in the final strides. BIG BUCKSALOT veered out at the start, stalked the early pace, rallied three wide to draw on even terms for the lead nearing the top of the stretch, battled to the wire and finished a game second. PLATINUM GHOST pressed the pace along the inside down the backstretch, made the lead at the quarter pole, battled the length of the stretch but was outfinished. GROUP EIGHTEEN set a pressured pace two wide for nearly a half mile, kept on into the stretch and faded in the late stages. OCEAN OF STORMS failed to menace. WASHINGTON'S UNION was no factor. MAKING ME CRAZY was outrun. LITTLE VAQUERO had speed along the inside through the turn then gave way.
