PRIMED TO GO was three wide into the first turn and unhurried, advanced two wide on the far turn while covered up, tipped out leaving the turn to make a three wide bid, hit the front at the furlong marker and edged clear by the sixteenth peg and then held QUOKKA safe late to prove best, driving. QUOKKA was reserved two wide early, advanced three wide on the far turn, angled in leaving the three sixteenths and was blocked by the furlong marker and angled out for racing room and closed well late. MR FLOWERS stalked the early pace and inched closer on the far turn and made a two wide bid to vie for command leaving the turn, between rivals by the furlong marker but was out-kicked. LOOK TO THE CROSS was settled back early, advanced two to four wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane and had a mild late rally. NAPTOWN was settled early on the inside, two to three wide on the far turn, angled out in the lane and had a belated rally. COVERT KAT set the pace along the inside while clear, headed leaving the quarter pole and fought on to the furlong marker but faded. THICK AS THIEVES was settled two wide, then moved out midway on the turn and came five wide into the lane but had no rally. TESTED was rated along the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn but weakened in the lane.
