Chart notes
LA CANTERA (IRE) was well placed along the inside, boxed nearing the quarter pole to nearing the furlong marker, moved out and angled out for racing room to make a bid and edged clear in the late stages to prove best under crop urging. RHAENYS set the pace along the inside and was well handled throughout, dug in gamely nearing the furlong marker but could not hold the winner late while being clearly second best. MY DEAR ANTONIA stalked the pace and made a two wide bid leaving the turn but flattened out in the final furlong while saving the show award. ITS SATISFACTUAL was reserved early on the inside, swung out five wide leaving the turn and had a belated rally. CELESTIAL EXPRESS was allowed to settle along the inside, made a three to four wide bid leaving the turn but flattened out. CANADIAN BEAR checked into the first turn, two to three path on the far turn and angled out but was not a threat. SYNERGISM chased the pace and made a mild bid three wide nearing the five sixteenths but weakened in the drive. TRIPLE SWEET was settled early, two to four path on the far turn and never factored. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the run into the first turn but after reviewing the replays there was no change.
