BROADWAY APPEAL broke on top, showed the way down the stretch the first time under light restraint, continued to rate onto the backstretch, called on for some run into the far turn, shook off the runner up soon after and remained clear to the wire under steady handling. I'M ALIVE last away, continued off the pace early, moved closer up the inside midway up the backstretch, fell back off the winner in the final turn, chased that winner through the lane, clearly second best. SHARP AS DAMASCUS went one paced outside, no threat to the top two in the drive. DAKOTA MARVIN chased the winner for a quarter from the outside, stopped. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
