THETRUTHISTHETRUTH washy, broke running to show the way early, clear into the first turn while hard rated, vied closest to the inside into the second turn, dueled up the backstretch the second time, disposed of that rival with just under a quarter remaining, stayed clear to the wire under steady handling. CATALE WINEMIXER prompted the winner early, joined that one to duel the middle three furlongs, proved no match from the quarter mile marker in, three wide for the drive, dug in late to prove game for the place. CAPETOWN CANDY lacked early speed, improved the middle four furlongs, lodged a rail bid for the place through the lane, outfinished for that position, well clear of the others. SMART OKIE also devoid of any early foot, improved with a mild middle move after a half, flattened out and went evenly the final two furlongs. OKIE LOVE finished early and was never a threat. KARSON KAY within striking distance in the early going, gave way after a half. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
