Chart notes

ALIBI IKE , urged from the gate, tracked a contested pace four wide, pounced on inner foes entering the lane, forged clear leaving the three sixteenths and widened under a steady drive. STRANGE ARRANGE broke forwardly despite hopping at the start, pressed the pace three wide outside the leader, battled between runners into the stretch, failed to match strides with the outer winner but kept on willingly to be well clear of the rest. HATCHET CREEK stalked the leaders while saving ground, was under asking mid turn, got through along the inner rail in upper stretch, failed to punch nearing mid stretch and faded. MALIGATOR broke a step slow, chased four wide and failed to respond. CAN MAN DO grabbed command soon after the break, set the pace in two path while taking outer pressure, ceded command soon into the lane and faltered through the final three sixteenths.
