Chart notes

INDY MAGIC got bumped at the start by FLAT ON, who veered inwards and in turn pinched back LOU in tandem with AZ U CHASE ME, raced four wide through the first turn before chasing four then three wide, came under coaxing nearing the quarter pole and advanced to seize command swinging four wide into upper stretch, then went clear under a drive and was under a vigorous hand ride in the late stages. FLAT ON veered in at the break bumping INDY MAGIC and causing the pressure that pinched back LOU against AZ U CHASE ME, prompted the leader from the outside two to three wide, came under urging three furlongs out, swung three to four wide for home before angling out an additional path straightened away, proved no match for the top one while running on clear for the place honors. AZ U CHASE ME a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, swung three to four wide for home, weakened and was along for the show honors. GLINT hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside under some pressure from FLAT ON, came under coaxing from the three-eighths marker, yielded the front and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, then weakened in the drive. LOU stumbled at the break, then got pinched back between foes, chased along the inside early on through the first turn and down the backstretch detached at the tail of the field, went three wide through the far turn coming under a ride at the seven-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was eased home to the finish while trailing throughout.
