FILM ACADEMY tucked in while settling off the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path, was roused in the six path into the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late and prevail. ORIE was urged along towards the rear, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, rallied into the final furlong, gained fast into the final sixteenth then moved out, made a bid between horses late and just missed while narrowly able to get the place. HELLO NEWMAN broke out and bumped with a foe, settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path, chased while gaining into the final furlong, raced between foes into the final sixteenth, made a bid late and just missed while able to get the show. PAZZ THE SOY SAUCE was hustled to the front then showed the way, came out to the two path into the turn then dropped back to the rail, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch, fought on determinedly to regain the lead outside the sixteenth-pole, led until the final strides but was denied and just missed the trifecta. OUT OF THE FOG was forwardly placed on the outside, came under urging in the three to four path on the turn, gained to get a short lead in upper stretch, lost the advantage back to the pacesetter outside the sixteenth-pole and was out-kicked. THE CRAFTSMAN was urged along towards the back, traveled around the turn in the three path, swung out to the five path into the stretch then moved further out and failed to threaten. DESERT POWER settled off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, spun into the stretch in the three path, moved out inside the three-sixteenths pole and failed to impact. BLAME IT ON K J was off very slow and spotted the front several lengths, angled in early then was urged well off the pace, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn and was no factor. EIGHTY GOLD bobbled at the start, raced towards the front while between horses, jostled with an opponent near the half-mile pole then dropped back, moved from the three path to the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. NYIKOS bumped with an opponent at the start, tracked the pace, jostled with a foe late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two to three path, chased into upper stretch and tired. VIKING WARRIOR bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along near the back, rounded the turn in the three path and faltered then was eased but walked off. KIMBALL UNION bumped with a foe at the start, moved up then chased the pace, came up empty along the rail on the turn and retreated then was also eased but walked off.
