MAY MAYHEM had good position early, angled out three wide in the stretch, closed determinedly and was up in the final strides. RED CHILI PEPPER had good position early, rallied at the quarter pole, gained a clear lead in the stretch and was caught late. MATTHEW'S PATRIOT was never far back, swung wide in the stretch and had mild bid. AINT NO BANDLEADER pressed early and weakened in the stretch. COLOR BEARER raced mid pack and was no threat.
