Chart notes
BUCKEYE CRUISER broke from the gates in the middle of the field, offered a mild bid in the turn, then angled out down the lane, closing well on the outside for an easy win. PRINCESS ELLIE got away alertly, dueling for the lead with OH GLORIOUS DAY, gaining command at the head of the lane but was overtaken in the stretch drive to be second best. ARTISTIC LANEY broke awkwardly and hopped at the start, then chased the field and rallied around the turn on the outside but hung a little near the wire. OH GLORIOUS DAY was hustled up to duel for the lead on the backstretch but dropped back in the turn. DESDEMONA KAY stalked the pace early on, but lacked a late response in the stretch drive. CARLY'S FLIGHT was near the back throughout, racing along the inside and faded.
