Chart notes
STONE CARVER broke sharply then went to the front, contended the pace while two wide, drew away in the final turn, and was ridden out. HE'S A SAINT trailed the field early, rallied three wide into the stretch and edged away. A MAN'S MAN stalked three wide, rallied late stretch and was outkicked. MENDELJOHN (IRE) sat in range and lacked a closing response. J J'S CAPER fanned four wide leaving the backstretch, and tired. BON PRIX sent for early speed, checked into the far turn, and chased to no avail. TRAINER OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the trainer of BON PRIX, alleging interference against the rider of MENDELJOHN in the far turn. After review of the film, the Board of Stewards disallowed the objection.
