Chart notes
QUARTERBACK DAK fanned four wide into the opening turn, moved up to challenge the lead, drew clear into the final turn, and continued to pull away down the stretch easily under little encouragement. BODEMONSTER saved ground inside, was no match for the eventual winner, and held for place. FRIDAYNIGHTSOLDIER trailed through the backstretch, circled into the final turn, closed late and missed. SELF SERVING set the early pace, was overtaken leaving the backstretch, and faded gradually. BROWNING ISLAND fanned three wide into the opening turn, stalked three wide, and passed a tiring foe late. VICTORIA'S CHIEF fanned five leaving the first turn, and came up empty in the drive.
