Chart notes
DEADPAN set the pace while clear and was in the two path on the turn, drifted out in the final furlong and held sway late to prove best under a drive. KEEN SURGE was settled back early, advanced on the inside nearing the five sixteenths marker, cut the corner and angled out to have aim on the leader, then had to alter course leaving the furlong marker back inside and was gaining late but missed. GRYPHON tracked the pace and was four wide on the turn, lugged in when straightened leaving the turn and then was along for the show award on the inside. PUBLICITY stalked the pace and was three wide on the turn and came four wide into the lane and weakened in the final furlong. JUST FOR GIGGLES was settled early, three to four wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane but had no rally. MEISTERSINGER tracked the pace three wide and tired. Jockey on number one filed an OBJECTION against the number five for interference in the stretch, after reviewing the replays the STEWARDS disallowed the OBJECTION.
