Chart notes
SILVERY ORB was reserved off the early pace, came two-wide into the stretch, took the lead from DON'T TELL HYDEE leaving the eighth pole and edged clear late. DON'T TELL HYDEE vied with BOB'S VAL for the early lead from along the outside, opened a clear lead nearing the half mile pole, set the pace into the stretch, responded when headed a nd held on gamely for the place. STATEFOREST was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. OLIVIA'S CHOICE (IRE) saved ground while being allowed to settle but lacked a rally when called upon. BOB'S VAI vied with DON'T TELL HYDEE for the early lead from along the inside, steadied nearing the nine-sixteenths pole while in tight then saved ground but was unable to recover the lost ground. PRINCESS K raced in the middle of the field early, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. LUSMA was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole and then faltered during the drive. THE RIDER OF BOB'S VAI LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST DON'T TELL HYDEE BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
