Chart notes
GOING FOR GLORY was sent hard from the gate, chased early then was well placed just off the pace, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, moved to the two path late on that bend, pursued the leader under a right-handed crop into the final furlong, switched to a left-handed crop while gaining outside the sixteenth-pole and got up under steady handling to prevali. FIVE DOZEN ROSES broke awkwardly and was off a step slow, settled on the outside, tracked the leader in the four then three path on the turn, was asked coming to the quarter-pole, took the lead in the five path into upper stretch, drifted out inside the three-sixteenths pole, passed the furlong marker under a right-handed crop, drifted in outside the sixteenth-pole, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to get the place. SYL'S PLEASURE pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three then two path on the turn, was given her cue outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the three path, drifted out under a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole, fought with the winner into the final furlong, was carried in some by that foe outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while well clear for the show. POSSE ROCKS broke out and hit the gate, went to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside while off the rail, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. LADY DELILAH stumbled badly at the start and was off very slow, spotted the front several lengths, was urged along at the rear, traveled around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the five path and was no factor. JACKPOT JULIE was sent hard from the gate then urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the two path and capitulated.
