Chart notes
SIR MENDEL settled behind the pace in the four path, dueled foe in the stretch to drive clear in the final sixteenth. ISSANO stalked the pace from the three path, bid for the lead at the five sixteenths, dueled outside foe in the stretch and gave way. INMORTAL J raced off the pace on the inside, split horses in the turn to angle out five wide in the stretch and improve for show. SPEEDY ALEX bumped at the start, rated between foes behind the pace, weakened in the final furlong. JAKE'S AFFECTION set an early pressured pace from the two path, relinquished the lead at the five sixteenths before fading in the stretch. MAGIC HOOH trailed for most, made no impact. DUKE OF DOOLY bumped at the start, pressed the pace early from the inside, retreated at the seven sixteenths.
