Chart notes
COASTAL GIRL broke out to bump with MY QUIET PLACE then was prominently placed while racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and finished strongly to be up in the final seventy yards. CLASSIC AMERICAN saved ground setting the pace under pressure from MY QUIET PLACE, drifted out slightly entering the stretch and just failed to last in a game try. MY QUIET PLACE broke out to bump TOPPER'S CHIEFTESS then was bumped by CLASSIC AMERICAN, moved up to prompt the pace into the stretch from along the outside and held on well for third. SPECIAL DIVA saved ground while being reserved off the early pace but lacked a rally when asked. PRANCING MATILDA saved ground while being unhurried and failed to seriously threaten. TOPPER'S CHIEFTESS was bumped at the start then allowed to settle racing three-wide on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factior.
