YOU VEE CEE hustled up the inside and engaged rivals for the lead in opening stages, vied around the turn, shook free at the head of the lane and finished well clear. CALL ME ICE MAN hustled up soon after the start to duel three wide for the early lead, battled on around the turn, could not move on with eventual winner in the upper stretch but ran on for second best. ABSOLUTE CHAOS briefly held the lead then came under pressure from both sides in opening stages, vied for the lead around the turn, was no match for the winner in the upper stretch, kept on with response then yielded late. QUARTER RAT sat just off the top trio, circled up four deep at the quarter pole, could not sustained bid into the lane and flattened out. SANTA CRUISER raced in the back, saved ground, shifted out in the upper stretch and failed to move on.
