Chart notes
MY RAPHA dueled outside of CASH'S PAL up the backstretch and into the upper stretch, shook free to a slim lead with a furlong left tor run, felt ANTE MERIDIEM closing in, dug in gamely under firm handling, turned back bid and kept clear. ANTE MERIDIEM tracked the embattled pair up the backstretch, hustled along three wide around the turn, sustained bid sitting in strong contention a furlong out but failed to get by the game winner. MACHO FORTY FIVE was not too far back in early stages, came under a ride around the turn, swung four paths wide into the upper stretch and ran on for a share. HARRY BLUEBLOOD tracked the top pair in the opening quarter, hustled along two wide around the turn, ran on two to three wide down the lane and lacked the needed kick for impact. BAND'S FREE SPIRIT raced in the back, saved ground around the turn, hit some traffic along the inside at the head of the lane, tipped two wide, came under a ride and failed to rally. CASH'S PAL dueled inside of the eventual winner up the backstretch and around the turn, battled on to the furlong marker then gave way.
