Chart notes
TO A FLAME tracked along the inside, smoothly split the leaders to bid two wide at the quarter pole, dueled while fended off through midstretch by the inner leader, yet determinedly battled on into the final sixteenth and drove past late. UNDERCOVER AGENT leaned outwardly causing the rider to take a strong hold early on, showed the way along the inside while vying with an outer foe down the backstretch, disposed of that one as TO A FLAME offered a bid at the quarter pole, gamely clung to an advantage into the final sixteenth, but sparred late and got bested. AMES vied for the lead two wide and in the three path, yielded to the top pair three wide at the quarter pole yet was best of the rest. COSMO FRIDAY trailed along the inside early on, saved ground and moved up. BEACH BALLAD pressed the top pair form the four path, but faded turning for home. MENKAURE failed to factor from the three path. GUCCI GAMMY pursued two wide, but was done early and eased through the lane.
