Chart notes
GOLDEN AFFAIR was unhurried early, rallied six-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final strides. CODE BREAKER vied for the early lead from along the inside, opened a clear lead nearing the half mile pole but was unable to resist the winner late in a game effort. CHASIN A DOLLAR was forwardly placed racing three-wide, angled in to be two-wide nearing the quarter pole split rivals and finished in a mild rally. HUNTING FOR GOLD was reserved while racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. R D STIMULUS vied with CODE BREAKER for the early lead and weakened. JOHN PORTER was allowed to settle while saving ground but lacked a rally. NOT TOO HOT COCOA disputed the early pace while three-wide and tired.
