Chart notes
FALLING LEAVES sprinted clear early, saved ground setting the pace and won with something left. CODE OF VALOR bobbled at the start then chased FALLING LEAVES while racing two-wide, could not threaten that one but proved to be second best. EMPIRE BELLA was allowed to settle while racing two-wide and finished in a mild rally. CANDY CREEK saved ground while being reserved off the pace and finished well in a steady effort. KNAUGHTY KNIGHT raced in the back of the field early, came four-wide into the stretch and improved her position. WHISKEY HIGH bobbled a the start then was allowed to settle, dropped back slightly on the turn and lacked a rally. DIVA IN MOTION saved ground racing in the middle of the pack but was unable to seriously threaten. BELLE OF EDMONDS checked from between horses nearing the five-eighths pole then was unhurried, came three-wide into the stretch but was unable to recover the lost ground. SPARKLEY BARKLEY saved ground while being allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
