EMMETT settled early, mounted an inside bid at the three-eighths, battled to mid-stretch, was outfinished into the final sixteenth and won the nod for the place. BATTLE OF DOVER stalked three wide to the second turn, vied between foes to upper stretch, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and just missed for second. PET MAT settled while saving ground, got caught in tight into the second turn, angled five wide upper stretch, no final kick. CHARGE OFF tracked the early pace from inside, asked for run three wide to upper stretch, no late rally. DOWNING STREET unhurried, asked four wide upper stretch, no late response.
