MAXIMATCH tracked on the inside, saved ground on the turn, waited for room at the quarter pole, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, closed willingly, drew clear in midstretch and was ridden out. EMPIRE SKY raced two wide off the pace, moved up three wide at the quarter pole, rallied four wide passing the furlong marker, finished well but second best. MY BOY ROCKY raced off the pace inside, angled out entering the stretch and rallied mildly outside for third. LUCKY TWIST vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in through the stretch and weakened late. COJELO PA TI vied between rivals for the early lead, dueled two wide on the turn and tired. ROYAL PERFORMANCE raced three wide off the pace, chased on the turn and failed to threaten. PLEASANT FANTASY vied three wide early, chased three wide on the turn and faded.
