LLOYD brushed the gate and was off a step slow, chased outside rivals early, bid two wide on the turn, dueled, took over in upper stretch and drew clear under urging. DIAMOND HEIST set the pace racing with a clear early lead, dueled inside on the turn, dug in gamely inside in the stretch and then yielded. MAGICAL WARRIOR chased inside early, then between rivals, continued between horses on the turn, lacked a winning bid and earned the show spot.
