ALLO ENRY dueled for the lead up the backstretch and around the turn, shook free in the upper stretch, continued to hold on to a diminishing lead under an all out drive and just lasted. ROCK CITY ROCKET tracked the pace in the opening quarter, advanced to race in aim late on the turn, put to a drive three wide in the lane, was inching up on winner late and just missed. KNIGHT COMMANDER vied for the lead up the backstretch and around the turn, could not move on with winner in the upper stretch but ran on and cleared the rest. IOWA HAWKEYE raced off the pace, saved ground and improved position without threatening top trio. JAHEZ raced off the pace in the opening quarter, advanced into contention along the rail late on the turn then failed to sustain bid entering the lane and gave way. LEADING THE CAUSE raced in the back, swung three to four wide into the lane and never threatened. CONCEPT was forwardly placed up the backstretch, continued in aim mid-way around the the turn then failed to kick on with the leaders at the quarter pole and faded in the lane.
