Chart notes
SMART JOKER stalked from the three path going into the turn, ranged up under coaxing passing the quarter to bid at the top of the lane, took the lead passing the eighth pole, and drew clear. SARAH'S BOY BLUE vied for the lead inside, lost ground passing the quarter and in upper stretch, but dug in to get back up for a share of place. CRAZY HEART dueled for the lead in the two path, took command passing the quarter, but lost the lead going by the eighth pole, and flattened in the final sixteenth. STOLICH chased in the three path but made no closing bid. BRIANS WAY rated in the four path, was ridden around the turn, floated out to the seven path in upper stretch, and mildly gained late. CUTADAY was wellback along the inside and never threatened. SMILE LIKE KYLE raced off the pace in the five path but never menaced.
