Chart notes
ROCKET DRAGON unhurried in the early going to be at the rear of the field, raced two wide through the turn, started to angle out leaving the quarter pole, abruptly angled in to the rail cutting the corner when the opening presented itself, squeezed through along the fence at the eighth pole and prevailed in a drive in deep stretch the beneficiary of a well handled ride. SHADOW FACTOR tracked the pace from five wide down the backside, angled to the inside saving ground on the turn, tipped out three wide splitting rivals turning for home, rallied to the lead in mid-stretch and was outkicked late in the lane in a good effort. TARSUS WARRIOR set the pace on a well rated lead, responded when engaged at the top of the lane, battled to the sixteenth pole and was outfinished in the late going. THORN OF HEARTS prompted the pace to midway on the turn, came under early urging on the bend and lacked a finishing response. COLONEL POPPY failed to meance. JUST RELAX stalked the pace down the backside, circled on the turn five wide to be prominent and flattened out turning for home unable to sustain the rally.
