Chart notes
LYTE CRUDE stalked the pace down the backstretch, eased out on the far turn, closed outside foes, led near the sixteenth pole and held sway under pressure. SCOVILLE UNIT bore out leaving the starting gate, swung outside entering the stretch and rallied on his left lead. PATRONAGE lacked speed, swung to the five path in upper stretch, rallied outside horses and ran on his left lead the final sixteenth of a mile. STARSHIP D'ORO sprinted clear on the backstretch, stayed prominent to mid stretch and weakened late. MALEVAJE remained along the inner rail most of the trip and failed to menace. WE GOT THIS made the early lead, stayed along the inner rail and weakened the far turn. ACE ON THE TURN , four wide entering the far turn, was outrun. NUTHIN FANCY stayed along the inner rail the far turn and was no factor.
