Chart notes
PERUVIAN BOY Forced the issue along the two path, three path into the lane, responded in deep stretch and proved best. ACTIVE DUTY Took hold at the seven-eighths pole avoiding the loose horse, in hand after that along the two path, took the rail into the lane and finished well inside. TIBERIUS MERCURIUS In hand four wide, stayed wide into the lane, challenged three across, battled and finished well. MAD MAGIC Lagged back four wide, three path into the lane, was not a factor. SPETTRO Set the pace along the rail while pressed and then was done entering the lane. DATESFREEDOM Close up five wide early, saved ground on the last turn and tired. IN A MINUTE Stumbled badly at the start tossing the jockey to the dirt. A Stewards inquiry was posted concerning the start, resulted in no change.
