LUCCI tracked a contested pace, angled out and bid four deep soon into the lane, took over past the three sixteenths, switched over to his correct lead with a sixteenth to go, turned away an inner THE BULLION BOMBER then edged clear under a drive. THE BULLION BOMBER (IRE) rated close up inside, eased out nearing the lane, bid three wide between foes, battled inside the winner past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. MARATHONER , away alertly, chased the leaders from the outside, shifted out about five wide in upper stretch and churned on. CHEERS FOR KITTEN pressed two wide outside the leader, moved to slim lead into the lane, failed to contain outer foes past the three sixteenths then faded in the final seventy yards. BRADITUDE was sent from the gate then rated back off foes near the half, chased inside around the turn, angled but needed more. WARRIOR'S CAUSE , off the pace saving ground, came out for the drive but lacked a solid run. NAUTICAL NATURE was steadied back from between foes early, dropped well off the pace, swung out for the drive but lacked a rally. WHY STOP THERE lagged back, came four wide into the lane, shifted in but failed to menace. ANY SUGAR HONEY sped to the front, set a pressured pace along the inside, was headed into the lane and faltered past the three sixteenths. CAPT. CANDY , fractious in the gate, was pulled up early then transported off via the equine ambulance. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
