Chart notes
MOHTAFIL unhurried for the first half mile to be the trailer, closed the gap on the bend, waited for racing room behind a wall of rivals turning for home, surged through an opening three wide in upper stretch, engaged the pacesetter inside the eighth pole, drifted out bumping the runner-up, straightened away, was in turn, bumped by the runner-up and finished well to prevail. DIVER reserved off the pace to the far turn, ralliedon the bend, angled out five wide at the top of the stretch to challenge the leader late in the drive, was bumped by the surging winner inisde the eighth pole, dropped in bumping the winner in return and battled with that one to the wire. BENGAL CAT set a well rated pace under a strong hold, responded when called upon maintaining the advantage to midway down the lane and could not hold off the closing top pair. SNOVEMBER tracked the leaders from mid-pack, was set to a drive midway on the far turn and failed to mount a closing bid. EASTERN EXTENSION (IRE) prompted the pace down the backstretch, rallied to threaten on the turn and flattened out. CHANNEL KING tracked the leaders from the fence to be well placed on the far turn and failed to respond when called upon.
