Chart notes
DIVINE GIFT chased the pace from the outside down the backstretch, then rallied down the lane to get up late for a driving finish. ZANZORA was mid pack early on, racing toward the outside, then closed down the lane to get up for place. SHIRLEY ANN'S GIRL broke sharp, jumping to an early lead, but gave way in late stretch to hold on for show. AMERICAN SPLENDOR showed no early foot, racing along the inside, then angled out in the turn and offered a mild bid late. PALMILLA'S BET was allowed to settle early on, then made a mild bid in the turn, angling out sharply around the quarter pole and had no late run. MIDSHIP MOLLY stalked the pace on the inside early, then dropped back in the stretch drive. MOLLYS CREED broke slow from the gates, trailing early, then passed a tiring rival. LIL SASSY JONES got off slow, racing near the back and was no factor.
