Chart notes
SPLENDORA showed early speed then took a stalking position on the inside, tipped two wide leaving the bend, quickly took over in upper stretch, drew off under mild urging and was in hand approaching the wire. OOTY (ARG) chased for a bit then pressed from between rivals at the half-mile pole, lost touch with the leader at the quarter pole, bid three deep in upper stretch, could not match strides with SPLENDORA in the furlong grounds and stayed on to hold second. SAFA dropped off the pace early, went two wide into the turn, gained while angling four wide around the bend, offered a mild rally in the lane but could not get by OOTY (ARG) for second. PRACTICAL DREAM chased early then went up to press the pace three deep, could not keep up with the leader with a quarter mile remaining, spun four wide into the lane and weakened in the drive. SCARY FAST RIDE sat off the pace on the inside, crept closer on the turn, angled out midstretch and lacked further response. NAY V BELLE sped to the front then crossed to the inside once clear of SPLENDORA, took pressure from a pair of rivals at the half-mile pole, moved clear at the quarter pole, offered little resistance to SPLENDORA when challenged in upper stretch and gave way in the furlong grounds. GETTHEMONEY lost her path when NAY V BELLE crossed over in the beginning, followed in range wide up the backstretch, navigated the turn four then five wide and had little left for the stretch run.
