Chart notes
DUKE OF GLOUCESTER settled off the pace three wide, bid on the final turn then pulled away while ridden out. PIRATE trailed for half mile, advanced outside on the final turn but proved no match for the winner. IN SPADES faded after half mile then re-bid to gain the show. DROPLINE prompted the pace outside, was hooked by winner at the quarter pole and came up empty. SMOOTH FLYIN MIKE saved ground close up for half a mile then gave way. CONCEALED CARRY hustled to the lead inside, lost the advantage on the final turn and faded.
