Chart notes

SET brushed with a rival at the start, moved up to get the lead outside the five-eighths pole then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, responded well when asked outside the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. VACATION DANCE settled off the pace, jostled with a foe passing the half-mile pole, went around most of the turn in the two path, shifted to the three path while roused outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the four path, pursued the winner while outside in the drive and finished with good courage to safely secure the place. RUSSI settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, moved to the four path outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the five path, chased the winner under a drive into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. TEN CENT TOWN established a good position just off the pace then tucked in, saved ground while drafting behind the leader on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, chased under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. SEAVER was urged early then settled at the rear, jostled with a foe passing the half-mile pole and was taken in hand then steadied outside the seven-sixteenths pole, was roused while moving from the inside to the three path on the turn, swung out to the five path into the stretch then moved further out in the drive and failed to rally. POWER ATTACK brushed with a rival at the start then was hustled, showed speed then tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the three path and came up empty.
