Chart notes
LIL MISS ADDY dueled with MO NACHO from the start and through the turn, gained he upper hand at the top of the lane, then dug in under a threat from ABSOLUT JOHN in the stretch, drifted in late, putting that rival in tight approaching the wire, and held clear. ABSOLUT JOHN stalked the dueling rivals through the turn, saved all the ground while slipping through a huge opening into the stretch, was finishing well when forced to steady near the wire, and lost all chance. HE CAN DANGLE raced in the middle of the pack, made a mild rally up the rail, and was just up to grab the third prize. MO NACHO dueled with the eventual winner from the start, then gave way approaching the furlong grounds. CAIRO COWBOY was sent hard from the break, tracked in the second flight behind the dueling leaders, lugged in through the stretch then steadied when put in tight, nearly clipping heels just past the sixteenth pole. RAISE MONEY was very slow into stride, spotting the field a head start, ran on willingly in the stretch, but could not make up the needed ground. LUTEDIDIT lacked early speed and was lacked a rally. GUIDED SPIRIT was always outrun and never a factor. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY IN THE STRETCH RUN NEAR THE FINISH, AND ALSO THE RIDER ON #2 ABSOLUT JOHN LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #1 LIL MISS ADDY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE FINISH. AFTER A LENGTHY REVIEW THE CLAIM OF FOUL WAS DISALLOWED AT THE ORIGINAL FINISH MADE OFFICIAL.
