Chart notes
CLAMPETT stalked the top pair to the turn, bid three deep at the quarter pole, put a head in front at the top of the stretch and drove clear. DEVIL AMONG US held a short lead dueling from outside up the backstretch, fought between rivals past the quarter pole, lost command at the top of the lane, yielded to the winner midstretch and stayed on for a clear second. GET HER NUMBER climbed early then moved into range under coaxing from off the rail, chased within striking distance three then four wide around the bend and flattened out in the furlong grounds. PROTEGE raced up close inside DEVIL AMONG US then dueled up the backstretch, fought with outer pair at the quarter pole, yielded to those rivals coming into the stretch and weakened down the lane. GEEZER saved ground from off the pace and failed to respond when needed. MELANIE'S TIGER raced off the fence at the back, rounded the bend four wide and failed to make an impact.
