Chart notes
SEITAN stalked the pace, rallied on the turn, assumed command, drew clear and extended the lead under mild urging. REGATTA BAY bumped twice and was pinched back at the start, raced mid pack along the inside, angled out for the drive, bid willingly, came out and was in tight near the eighth pole and earned place while no threat to the winner. ZIPPY TOGA was slow early, rallied around the turn, bid five wide, was in tight near the eighth pole, had little left and settled for show. HARD KINGS was void of early speed, swung wide entering the stretch and offered a mild bid to improve position. CATCHIN DRAMA was never far back, dropped back on the turn and flattened out. KEE JEE hesitated at the start to be off slowly, trailed the field and passed tiring rivals. MOON TRIP bumped at the start, came in, bumped again, saved ground and lacked a bid. MISTERHOLYROLLER set the pace with a clear lead to the second turn, tired and gave way. PATEK bumped on both sides at the start, was through after a half and not urged late. WATCH THE COAST bumped on both sides and was pinched back at the start, raced evenly and was not urged late. The stewards' posted an inquiry concerning possible interference near the eighth pole. No change was made.
