Chart notes
UNCLE CAESAR tracked the leader two to three wide, was put to a hustling ride leaving the far turn, gathered momentum and gained into the stretch, sustained under left handed asking and drew alongside in mid stretch, wrested command a sixteenth out then edged clear late. POINT DUME took command along the rail into the first turn then cleared, edged away under rating heading to the half mile pole, remained under some rating past the five sixteenths, was called upon soon into the lane, dug in when encountered in mid stretch, dueled, switched over to his left lead leaving the sixteenth pole then gave way grudgingly. RECKER POINT was hustled up three wide to contention into the first turn, stalked three deep into the far turn, circled four wide with hard chase into the stretch but could only minimally gain through the final seventy yards. WISH FOR PEACE , brushed at the break, raced in range and between rivals from the half mile pole to the three eighths, gave futile chase from there and faded. MARGIE'S FUN SON , off a bit slow after breaking outward and brushing a rival, regrouped and moved up to be in range towards the rail into the backstretch, chased inside a pair of foes leaving the far turn then faded.
