Chart notes

CADFAEL broke sharply and quickly moved clear, set the pace near the rail, was shaken up in upper stretch, extended the advantage, was given just moderate urging late while holding safe. CATHOLIC JACKIE settled off the pace, advanced willingly inside, angled four to five wide turning into upper stretch, got the nod for place. SPARKLET was bumped into a rival at the start, forwardly-positioned between foes, in a bit tight past the four and one-half and shuffled back a bit, was two to three deep and asked for run coming to the quarter pole, angled in and cut the corner, rallied inside, just missed second. JMR SPEEDY ESCAPE tracked from inside foes. FROST BITTEN was in a bit tight after the start, settled at the back inside, was off the rail but moved out further to the three path coming to the quarter pole, was guided out a bit further in upper stretch, ran on. THE NEW MAYBE was in a bit tight at the start, had forward position between runners, moved out from four to six wide late on the turn, needed more in the stretch. PASSTHEPUDDINPLEAZ broke a step slowly, settled at the back, swung nine wide, was never near enough to threaten. LEFT IN MY DUST was taken back in the early going, swung nine wide, was not a factor. ADELAIDE COURT bumped a rival at the start, chased from between runners moving out three wide up the backstretch, came into upper stretch four deep, faded. ROYAL QUALITY chased from outside five to seven wide, faded.
