Chart notes
FOND OF YOU set a pressured pace along the inside and then shook clear leaving the turn and then drew off in the final furlong to prove much the best while being ridden out. ATHENIX broke outwardly at the break, then recovered to stalk the pace four wide entering the turn, made a three wide bid on the turn and was two wide by the quarter pole but flattened out and proved to be no match for the winner while second best. MY STUBBORN LASSIE was close up early between rivals entering the turn, then fell back four wide by the three eighths marker, five wide by the quarter pole and ran on willingly to gain the show award. ALDENE chased the pace on the inside and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole but weakened in the lane, bested the rest. SENSACALI was allowed to settle early, saved ground on the turn and weakened. WORSHIP MY NAME bobbled at the break, trailed early and raced in the two path on the turn, swung out wide leaving the turn and was not a threat. MUSICAL POWER pressed the pace two wide and weakened.
